Please see the top and bottom of the page for contact information and location details. See the class schedule and programs page for the classes that we offer, what they pertain, and when they take place. If you have any other questions feel free to give us a call or shoot us an email.
Do I need my own gear for my first classes?
No, you do not need to have your own gear for your first few classes. We have boxing gloves, mma gloves, and shin guards that you may use. We generally advise purchasing your own gear once you sign up for a membership and know that you’ll stick with it.
What should I wear?
Please wear athletic or at least comfortable clothing to train in as you will be getting a good workout in. Avoid any offensive material.
What should I expect for my first class?
We have attached a parking map on the new students page to help ease your arrival. When you come in, someone at the front desk will give you a basic waiver to fill out. There are no shoes allowed on the mat so we have cubbies outside of our training area. You may drop your gym bag along the wall and begin to stretch or wrap your hands until a coach is able to introduce themselves to you. Let us know if you have any injuries or need any accommodations. We’ll start you with the basics to see where your skill level is at and go from there to build you up.
Where do I park?
Please see the new students page for an image of where to park and enter the building. You may enter the parking lot from any of the entrances off Red Run Blvd. The main entrance to the building says Guntry- from that point drive around to the left side of the building (the left side while looking at the building) and park in that large lot. We are the second set of doors from the left side there. Our entrance is the one with the flags.
What if I’ve never trained in martial arts?
That’s totally okay! We have students who started when they were five years old and others who started training in their 40s. We adjust training to fit everyone’s needs in a variety of ways. Just be prepared to work hard and learn a lot!
What if I need accommodations?
If you need accommodations please give us a call and let us know ahead of time or let us know before you start training if you decide to drop in.
